Perdue Faces Campaign Finance Questions

Former Democrat Governor Mike Easley is scheduled to testify before the State Board of Elections later this month in connection with an investigation into illegal contributions stemming from his use of private aircraft.

Now, Governor Beverly Perdue has admitted to failing to report 17 flights on private aircraft during her 2008 campaign.  Tom Fetzer, the NC GOP chairman has filed a complaint with the State Board of Elections asking them to investigate these apparent campaign finance and election law violations.
