Mr. Gunn has worked to improve the business climate in Alamance County, serving as Vice Chairman of the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce, as President of the Burlington-Alamance Association of Realtors, and on the boards of the Alamance Business Club and the Burlington Downtown Corporation. An active community volunteer, he has served on the Board of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and just completed his fourth year as President of the Alamance County YMCA. Rick says, “Rebuilding our economy and putting people back to work is my top priority. I believe that our State Government should be held accountable for its actions – and inactions! I promise to stand up and fight for the people of our district; not be a “yes-man” for the liberal power brokers in Raleigh. Let’s take control of our government and run it in an open, ethical fashion. This journey will not be easy but we can get the job done.”
