New Poll Has Encouraging News For Republicans

While a new poll from Public Policy Polling shows Republicans and Democrats essentially tied on the generic legislative ballot, a closer look at the poll reveals very encouraging signs for Republican opportunities for pickups this November. Among the 46 percent of people polled who describe themselves as “very excited” to vote this year, Republicans maintain a 53-39 advantage over Democrats. Republicans are most popular with the segment of voters who are excited and ready to deliver a new brand of leadership for North Carolina. It is clear that GOP candidates have momentum right now.
