Berger: Senate will work with governor to help communities affected by storms

The following is a statement from. Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) in response to the violent storms and tornadoes that swept through North Carolina on Saturday:

“Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and everyone else affected by yesterday’s tragic storms. The North Carolina Senate will work with the governor to help those in need and restore our battered communities.  We’re grateful for the tireless work of emergency personnel, and the resolve of friends and neighbors already working around the clock to help others.”
