Berger: Do Not Cancel Governor’s Race

Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger (R-Rockingham) responded to Gov. Beverly Perdue’s recommendation Tuesday that Congressional elections be suspended for the next couple of years:

“In light of Gov. Perdue’s support for suspending Congressional elections, I want to state clearly, on the record, that I do NOT support suspending our next gubernatorial election.”
